Floral Keds and stonewashed denim...

This outfit is almost so far out of my comfort zone that it's ridiculous. With Keds and a stonewashed denim jacket, you could be forgiven for thinking we had gone back to the 80s... I was given these Keds for Christmas and as I will be wearing them on holiday, I thought I had better break them in before I trek all around Italy in them...

Denim jacket: Marks & Spencer, top: Warehouse via charity shop, shorts: H&M,  Keds: Christmas present from my parents
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when we had a brief interlude of sunshine, and of course, I got my shorts out. I never know what to pair them with though as a plain top just seems really dull so I figured this one added a bit of interest...

Cold face: model's own
I have had this jacket for years. I got it for my 11th birthday and although the label says 11-12 years, it would be mahoosive for an eleven year old so I'm not sure what M&S were thinking. Extreme vanity sizing?!

I have never got rid of it, thinking it would be lovely for throwing on over dresses in the summer but I never actually did. In an effort to pare down my wardrobe, I have decided that if I don't wear it, it gets sold/given to a charity shop. I'll let you know how I get on with that...!

Definitely the pièce de résistance of the whole outfit. The gorgeous Liberty print and incredibly comfy soles mean that these are lovely to wear, it literally feels like you are walking on clouds and these are the comfiest pair of shoes that I own. I'm not sure where my parents got this pair from but you can get THIS EXACT PAIR or some other lovely sneakers over at Spartoo who have some other rather lovely shoes that I have my eye on...

What is out of your comfort zone? How would you wear floral Keds?
P.S. This post was written in collaboration with Spartoo. I am more than happy to collaborate with brands I love but I will never feature anything that I don't think is relevant to the blog...

Denim and florals are literally my summer staples, I'd would just throw those shoes on with absolutely anything, they are so good in the summer.

I am in love with Keds! They're amazing shoes. Love how you paired them. The denim jacket looks amazing, and I love how you've had it for ages.

I love those shoes! I find it hard to wear casual things, but just got some converse and I'm enjoying wearing them. Pumps are so uncomfortable! why haven't I been wearing converse all my life?!

Oh those KEDS are rather lovely! I have some purple ones but unfortunately I don't wear them very often because they're a bit 'flappy' and I prefer my converse. Also I am definitely loving stone washed denim again!

I have exactly the same pair of Keds that I bought for some silly little money on sale last summer when I was in Finland and LOVE them! I had my eye on them for a while back at home, but they were too expensive. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the last pair on the shelve that was actually in my size!
