Now I have already posted about a million pictures from my graduation but I felt that the food was worthy of its own post. After my ceremony we went to Vintners in Stratford and it was absolutely fantastic! The food and drink were fantastic and it was obviously popular as the entire restaurant was full for the two hours we were there.
Mark and I shared king prawns pan-fried in garlic and herb butter and although they were messy, there were cooked perfectly.
For the main, Mark and I both had escalopes of pork fillet with free-range fried egg, caper butter & the crispiest French fries I have ever had!
This is the pudding of dreams. Marbled chocolate mousse cake with amaretto crème. It was so rich that I didn't actually manage to finish it but it was soon gobbled up!

Isn't this the cutest?! A miniature version of Vintners! It was lovely to spend some quality time in good company and the restaurant did not disappoint. If you are ever in Stratford, I would definitely recommend it :)

Although the only guidelines that Warwick gave were 'no jeans or trainers' I decided to go fairly smart and wore my Topshop shift dress with my gorgeous cerise Mary Janes from Hobbs. I am not a big fan of heels but these were perfect and so comfortable, even after a day on my feet. The nude fishnets I am wearing were a gift from the lovely Emily at MyTights.com. I love the look of nude fishnets and they add a bit of texture to any outfit without overpowering it so they were perfect for my graduation.
P.S. Apologies for the lack of posts recently, I have been at Mark's over the past couple of days and I am off on holiday tomorrow so my posts may be a bit sporadic!

Ahh you look lovely! Those shoes are gorgeous, such a pretty colour :) and looking at the photos of your food is making me hungry again! I was absolutely famished after my ceremony so devoured my meal before taking photos but it was so good, yummy Italian comfort food!

You look GORGEOUS! Loving your outfit choice for Grad, I reckon the best thing is to make a bit of an effort, it is an occasion after all. The shoes are a great twist on a classic look too.
The FOOOOOOOOD oh my God the food Maria. Those prawns, the pork, THE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE and the chocolate bread and butter. It all looks so damn good. My rule of thumb is don't go to empty restaurants, unless you know they're good, because there'll be areason that it's empty, but aside that, a full restaurant can be great for atmosphere, particularly for happy celebrations like this.
The food looks gorgeous and those are all my favourite desserts ever! Yum! You looked gorgeous for graduation, I love the colour pop of your shoes. Congratulations again :) x

I also love your heels! I think brights always look gorgeous against black. Lolz at your uni for actually advising no trainers can be worn, do you reckon anyone would actually rock up in some battered nikes?

Oh my, those shoes are flipping gorgeous... Also, really bad to see this post when I am yet to have any breakfast because it has made me so, so hungry! My mum and I usually go to Marlowes when we are in Stratford because they do this amazing calves liver but I think I may have to suggest this place after seeing these photos!

Wow, that food looks amazing! Congratulations on graduating. I wore a very similar outfit to yours - a plain black dress from M&S Ltd Collection and purple heels from Karen Millen - the shoes were the only thing that showed as the gown swamped me! x

Oh that food looks delicious! I went out for dinner for my graduation and it was delicious - the best steak I have ever had. Have a wonderful holiday.
