Travel plans...

This year, I am trying to make good on my resolution to visit more places in the UK and I already have some exciting trips planned! I will be staying at the gorgeous Norbury Manor with some blogging pals, I have a spa and shopping weekend in Bath to look forward to, with my two best girlfriends, and I'll be flying up to Edinburgh to spend a few days with another two best friends. And just when I've got my breath back from all that excitement, Mark and I are road-tripping down to Cornwall for your summer holiday. Phew, it sounds like a lot when it is written down like that!

Now obviously I am so organised that every day is planned out to the minute... Yeah, that's a lie. I have never been to any of these places and I'm going to need some help with day trip suggestions. So, in an attempt to be more organised - another resolution for this year - I am asking you, nice and early on,  for suggestions of places to go, books to read, music to listen to on my hols.

What are your suggestions? Where are you visiting this year?

Oh wait. No it's not. I'm totally going to be there at the same time as you.

I want to see more of the UK as well. We live in Norfolk so far away from everywhere, apart from London which is less than two hours on the train - so we end up going there so often.

St Ives in Cornwall is the mos beautiful place! I'd like to visit Brighton for a weekend and I've heard York is also supposed to be a lovely UK city break : )

Oh I LOVE Cornwall, and Devon. My favourite places on earth. I'm hoping to venture to London, Reading and Bournemouth as well as my non-uk Spain trip! I love exploring! x

I'm going to Ayr to visit family in May but I'd really like to travel to Rye in Sussex. It's close enough to me but not if you want to take it all in. A weekend break away will be in order.

GREAT BLOG!!! I'm a new reader :)

This sounds amazing. It's always great to have things planned - I have friends going to Paris at the end of April and I'm hoping I can join them but we'll see...small matter of asking work for the days off!

Sounds amazing! That's actually one of my resolutions too. I kicked it off with Liverpool, visited the home of the Beatles, the lovely docks, Museums and all that stuff...
Have fun and take lots of pics for us!

Ohh, this sounds so exciting! I've been meaning to see more of the UK too, but I never seem to get around to it. Hope you will be posting lots of photos so I can live vicariously through you! ;) Make sure you visit the Outlets when you're in Derbyshire too!

Eep, this is all very exciting! My recommendations for Bath are the usual: the baths, The Fashion Museum and the Jane Austen stuff (if you're a fan), and the Pump Room for tea/afternoon tea/ breakfast/whatever. Rec. for Edinburgh: The Real Mary King's Close. Rec. for Norbury: swanning about being giddy :D x
