I never thought I would see the day when you would find me choosing to wear a pair of boyfriend fit jeans. I have been a massive fan of skinny jeans for a while now but anything less fitted is foreign territory. My hips and legs are less than slender so I was always worried that adding extra material wouldn't be flattering and although I have certainly looked better, I actually like this more relaxed look. I have never been very good at casual wear but maybe there's hope for me yet!

This top is my favourite striped top in my wardrobe, so much so that I bought it in blue too! The length is great and even if the sleeves are a bit long, it is the perfect match for anything in my wardrobe. Paired with a messy bob and some red lipstick (my gorgeous Tesco bargain!) I felt perfectly French- never a bad thing on my book!
There's something quite natty about having a flash of your ankles on show, it feels way more spring like but still keeps you warm. These shoes have barely left my feet since I bought them but when they look this darned good with everything, why bother?! I have been trying different tops with these jeans but this is my favourite look so far, fitted tops are definitely the way to go!
How would you wear boyfriend jeans? Any tips to stop me looking too chunky in them?

I think this outfit really suits you :) I don't own any boyfriend jeans myself but wearing them rolled up and with dainty shoes like you have, definitely keeps them feminine and not too chunky!

I don't own any but I want some ripped ones!! These have such a nice, relaxed fit. :)

I think you've styled this perfectly. You can definitely do casual!
You did a great job styling bf jeans. I think they look amazing when rolled up and paired with jeans.
Oooooh, definitely think you're on the money with a more fitted top and chic shoes to go with them. I haven't worn boyf jeans in forever, but you've got me craving some now!
these suit you so well, you've styled them perfectly xx
I think you look fab. I remember owning some distressed boyfriend jeans when I was back at uni. In hindsight, the baggy style has never suited my height...fitted is definitely better for me so I am always envious of people who can wear lovely baggy styles!
You look fab mate, especially twinned with heels, wit woo! <3 Claire @ Jazzpad
I like them. A nice change from the norm.

I've yet to master the art of wearing boyfriend jeans but I like the idea of showing a little ankle :)
I love it! I have yet to tackle the boyfriend jean look :)

Oh, I feel your pain! I have incredibly short legs, chunky thighs but reasonable hips...the thighs make jeans shopping a bloomin nightmare! I too have discovered the boyfriend jeans, actually feel smaller in these than the skinny jeans! My tip, exactly what you're doing, wear a heel with them! Lovely outfit xx
