When I fell in love with Barcelona... (PICTURE HEAVY)

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Meera and I went to Barcelona for a long weekend and I absolutely loved it. It was such a great city and all I wish is that I could have had more time to spend there! I loved the hop on hop off bus, very touristy but it meant that we saw more of the city than we could have covered on foot. I took over a thousand photos (!) and I'm sharing some of my favourites here...

Las Ramblas
Cool lights at the metro station at Plaça de Catalunya
I burn very easily so had to layer my suncream!
Dress:Monki, shoes: Keds

C&A!

Casa Batlló - we didn't get chance to go inside but it looked amazing!
Cool tiles everywhere...

The Sagrada Familia was just bonkers, I wish we could have gone inside but we stupidly didn't book tickets- one for next time!

Such amazing food
Fork for scale
Park Güell was one of my favourite places we visited
It just looked like something from a film or game!

Forever lurking in the shade...
Gaudi's house at Park Güell
The famous benches...
Looking down towards the city...
Typical tourist pose
Bonkers and beautiful

I love this lizard

It was even decorated amongst the columns underneath all of the benches!
At Camp Nou
We were so high up that I nearly didn't go out to my seat...

The face of genuine fear amidst the floodlights
We went back for the stadium tour the next day and it was much less scary without all the people!
The foundation stone
Church off the tunnel
Sitting in the press box
Pretending to be a football manager
Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya
Such a pretty building
What a view!
Octopus-like lamp!
Such a beautiful ceiling
Joan of Arc
So much religious art
Amazing sculptures
Bust of a noblewoman representing Barcelona
Political art and posters
Beautiful stained glass
Woman in Hat and Fur Collar (Marie-Thérèse Walter) by Picasso
Woman in Hat and Fur Collar (Marie-Thérèse Walter) by Picasso
Fountains everywhere
The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc

Olympic Park

Port de Barcelona
El Cap de Barcelona by Roy Lichtenstein

Gambrinus, the giant lobster sculpture by Port Vell
My outfit for our final dinner. Top: H&M, skirt:Warehouse, sandals:Office
I wish we had the tall skinny Cokes, they look much cooler!
Chocolate mousse with strawberry sorbet

The view from my hotel room.
Now when can I go back?!
