Banana dress

I don't there is anything that is making me smile as much as this dress at the moment! The Fairy Hobmother visited me after I commented on Ellie's post and very kindly gifted me with a £50 Amazon voucher which I couldn't wait to spend!

Dress: Ruby Rocks via Amazon, blazer: New Look, belt: vintage, tights:Sainsburys, shoes: New Look
I will be honest, this dress isn't the most flattering one I own, or even the cheapest but it's fun and sometimes that is just what you need!

I wasn't sure if the blazer made it look too severe but my leather jacket was just too much 'look'. I thought it was better to leave the focus on the dress rather than overwhelm it with too many accessories.

This picture shows the print a bit better, how fun is it?!

I am totally in love with my 'Coral Shimmer' lipstick by Natural collection, the perfect peachy colour, ideal for picking out all these gorgeous autumnal colours in the leaves at the moment!

My little treat to myself: Fashion Face Off playing cards, Gossip Girl Seasons 3 and 4  and the banana dress of dreams...
You too can be in with the chance of having the Fairy Hobmother visit you, just comment on this post and tell me what you are wishing for!

Would you wear fun fruity prints? What are you wishing for?

I think the dress looks super lovely, it is a nice length and you've finished it off well with a belt. Really pretty. I wish for warmer weather - does that count?! xxx

This is probs one of my faves of yours!! Definitely a fun print, better than that TS one that they ended up never selling! I think I'd wish for a haircut. Or magical free petrol.Yeah, that'd be awesome :P x

I think it looks lovely on you, you're right to keep the accessories simple and let the print stand out! Enjoy Gossip Girl! x

What were you saying to me just the other night Mia - you don't have good legs - wrong! Look how slim and long they are in the pics. Beautiful!

What would I wish for from the Fairy Hobmother - a fashion sense like yours for a start. Seriously - I wish to go to Hay-on-Wye again and buy 50 books or to find a lush dress like the banana one. When I visit you in Bredon tomorrow I'm gonna hunt through your waredrobe - anything you wanna donate my way? :p

Aye querida, love the dress it,'s gorgeous! And definitely fun!

So JEALOUS that you managed to get seasons 3 and 4 of GG also, they're on my list at the moment, that and the entire series 1-9 of Spooks on DVD!

Currently wishing for... something resembling a case book for contract or tort law. Why do there have to be so many cases to learn for so many principles.

Oh God... I'm turning into one of those boring legal people who can't think of anything else.... *scurries off for cold shower*

A banana print dress? That is amazing! Simply amazing. I don't know what else to say!

I love random prints. They're the best. I'm just trying to think now whether I actually own any fruit-print clothes.. I think my wardrobe may be severely lacking in fruit-print items.. This is not on & will have to be rectified asap!

I'm very jealous of your Amazon gift voucher.. if I had one of those, I'd put it towards one of the new Kindles I think. Mainly because I've been jonesing after one for AGES & the day after my birthday, I came home to find a box on the kitchen side that said Kindle on it - got all excited, but shouldn't have got my hopes up because actually it was a present for my Dad, from himself. And was just a coincidence that it came around the time of my birthday. Gutted! Turns out, he'd heard me going on about them & how much I wanted one - so thought he'd see what all the fuss was about & get himself one. Yeah, charming! So anyway, that's my long explanation as to what I'd spend a gratefully received Amazon voucher on!

You look amazing! The dress really suits you! That's gone straight on my "want it now" list.

I'm currently wishing for some spare cash to treat myself to some books for my new Kindle. I managed to save up for the thing itself, but don't really have any money to spare for books now!
