Garnier miracle skin perfector/ B.B. cream...

I should say first of all, I am not a beauty blogger and I rarely experiment with my make-up but I am constantly on the search for the perfect foundation. When there was all the hype around the BB creams I was dubious about how effective they actually were but I have actually been really impressed with this Garnier one

I have quite pale skin so I chose the light colour, as you can see, it goes on fairly orangey but when blended it matches my skin tone perfectly...

I bought it back at the end of  November and I wear it most days as the fluorescent lights at work completely wash me out if I don't have any make-up on and this is perfect for just evening out my skin tone without looking too heavy. Apparently the coverage is similar to a tinted moisturiser but I much prefer the finish of this.

Without any other make-up...

With blusher, mascara and a lipstain...

The coverage is sheer but it evens out my skin-tone and it gives me enough of a glow to not need a lot of other make-up. The dewy finish will be perfect for the lighter days and I can't wait to try it with some brighter colours. I only ever need a pea sized blob to cover my whole face [and that is a whole lotta face! ;)] so this  bottle should last me a while yet...

Have you tried BB creams? What is your favourite foundation?

I really want to try a bb cream but I'm so pale I think none would work. I have to use the palest mac foundation. Anything else makes me look orange!

I've got this one too and have also been impressed, I used to use concealer before but I'm a convert :)

I tried the Garnier BB cream but it still made me look orangey. I've been fighting a losing battle trying to find a foundation, because I am basically a ghost :')

Just started using Dream Matte Mouse in light ivory and that is a god send! Hardly need to use any too!

I don't like BB cream from Garnier. My number 1 from ETUDE HOUSE (South Korea) Precious Mineral BB Cream SPF30.

Hello

I tried the Garnier BB cream and I did like it - seems to soft focus the skin. My only problem was it made me a bit shiny after a few hours. I'm now using the Boots BB cream which comes in either dry or oily versions. It's good too, though I'm not sure the coverage is as good as the Garnier one.

On the whole though I like these BB creams, really quick and easy to use. I have been on an endless hunt for something that makes my skin look better but without looking too cakey or made up and these seem to work well. Think I will try a few more brands out - I'd like to see what the Mac one is like.

This sounds great, I'd been thinking I'd try it out but I'm using a tinted moisturiser at the moment so I'm holding out till thats finished like a good girl xxx

You're just beautiful querida mia. Loving the look of BB cream, but I don't think it'll be for me as my skin is hyper sensitive and I prefer to stick with mineral make up. I love this very natural and simple look though.
