I asked for more sunshine in my last post and it looks like my wish has been granted! This dress is such an easy breezy thing to wear and although this colour scheme is more autumnal, I think the ankle boots and nude tights make it suitably springlike. It was pretty windy as you can see from the photos and I ended up looking rather windswept, I was barely able to stand upright in this photo!
Dress: Gap c/o Matilda, jacket: H&M, belt: Primark, shoes: Betty London c/o Spartoo |
This belt is one I have had for years and years, it is even older than this blog! I only ever wear it when I need to be cinched in as it is so rigid and wide. There is just no breathing room with it on- who needs a corset?!
The eagle eyed amongst you may recognise these boots, I love my black ankle boots so much that I bought them in brown too. I wear a lot of tan accessories in the spring and summer and I think these boots will be getting a lot of wear over the next few months! The suede is super soft (no breaking in needed!) and they end at a relatively flattering point on my leg, making them super versatile to wear...
Have you ever bought the same shoes in another colour?
P.S. This post was done in collaboration with Spartoo

I think this outfit looks lovely and springlike.
I've totally bought shoes I love in another colour - nothing wrong with that.
Oh Maria, I LOVE this outfit. You look absolutely gorgeous.
I'm with Char on this one - if you like a pair of shoes and they're available in other colours, get them! All of them!
That dress is sooo pretty! I'd quite like to steal it ;) As for the boots - NOM.

I don't even get them in a different colour, I get the same colour as a back up pair if I really like them. I wear heels down really quickly then get disappointed when I can't buy the shoes anymore x
Massive lol at Gemma's comment above, I do that too!! Especially if I'm in love with a pair, it would be heartbreaking if your favourite boots died and you didn't have a backup.
You look amazing Maria, no-one pulls off colour like you! xxx
I remember those cute booties from a previous outfit, I really like them. I have done the same with comfy wedge sandals (honestly 3 pairs eheehe, it was a steal!).
Stop by whenever you like and share some love!

one of my favourite looks on you Maria, the colours are fabulous x
Ahh, I am so jealous of the way you seem to just suit so many beautiful colours, you look really gorgeous here & that jacket is amazing!
I agree with the other girls too, I always try to buy a 'backup' pair in the same colour if they're a good price! ;)
I love these colours xxxx check out my giveaway :) http://georginagoodman.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/flashon-nails-giveaway.html
Orange is such a gorgeous colour on you! I really love this outfit - so bright and sunny!
