Monochrome floral dress...

Wearing only black and white has never really been my thing, I prefer bright colours to black and white and monochrome has always felt just a bit too safe for me. There are some notable exceptions to this rule, I loved this spotty top from Next and this maxi skirt and blouse combination is perfect for the summer but generally I steer clear of the (black and) white stuff. I really shouldn't have bought this dress from Primark, I try not to buy clothes that won't last more than a few washes but I loved the fit of this and the length makes it perfect for work.

Dress: Primark, belt: Primark, shoes: French Sole c/o Spartoo
A slick of eyeliner and a mini beehive worked perfectly with the high neckline. I have been having a bit of trouble with my skin recently but it seems to have cleared up. It's amazing how much it can dent your confidence when your skin is less than perfect so I am glad it is looking fresher. The last thing I want to be doing is wearing a full face of make-up in the warmer weather!

My Office loafers are probably the most worn shoes in my wardrobe and it is starting to show. The inside is completely ruined so I have been looking for a pair of patent flats to replace them. You know how much I love my leopard print French Sole flats and when I saw this patent pair I thought they would make a worthy replacement. They don't fit as well as my other French Sole pair but I'm hoping that the leather will soften as I wear them.

Do you have any tips for keeping your skin clear?

P.S. This post was done in collaboration with Spartoo

I like the black and white on you, although can understand why you would prefer colour! As for skin.. um.. mine has gotten pretty bad lately as I've changed my routine so.. drink lots of water? ;)

My skin is always awful :( I think the sun has helped it a little, recently.
I love this dress.

Whilst I'm with you in usually preferring colour to monochrome, this dress looks beautiful on you!

As for clear skin, I started using the Clearasil facewash that fades marks rather than just tackles spots, and it's absolutely brilliant. Combining that with using tinted moisturiser rather than foundation for day-to-day use has made my skin a thousand times better x

very pretty dress. I had to send those shoes back, too narrow and tight for me :(

I have to take really strong tablets for my skin but ultrabland from Lush helps and get all the makeup off so I have clean skin x

That's such a pretty dress!

Recently i had some skin issues too, but I found reducing the number of products down which I use on my face, and only using the gentlest things instead of going nuts with harsh spot removers made a massive difference. You are looking super radient in these photos though!

You still look beautiful in b&w, but I do agree, you are definitely more of a colour kinda girl! :)
My skin has been awful recently too & I'm still trying to get ontop of it, it so depressing feeling like a spotty 14 year old when you're in your mid 20's!

This dress is so pretty. I get really upset when my skin goes though a bad patch, gentle products like Avene seem to help though. x

Your dress is so gorgeous. I can't lie, I really have a pendant for monchrome, but always try to brighten it a little with a slick of red lipstick!
