Imperial purple...

I love rich colours and my favourite one to wear is purple. This dress always reminds me of 'the purple one' in the Quality Street tins crossed with imperial robes- no bad thing in my opinion! It is the perfect outfit for wearing to meals and going out for drinks so it was my first choice for a family party this weekend.

Dress: Tesco, leather jacket: New Look, tights: Sainsbury's, shoes: New Look
With a dress this snazzy, I kept the rest of the outfit simple, opting for my favourite jacket and some trusty black opaques.
This dress has pockets, POCKETS!
As ever, the little details are the best part of any outfit and the pleated sleeves and back detail make this dress look much more expensive than the £7 I paid for it! I have to say, I am always very impressed with the quality of Tesco clothing, especially for the prices!

I cannot wait to get my hair cut again, all of my layers have grown out and it's got to a point where I can't do anything with it. I'm not sure whether to go shorter (just above the shoulder) or to keep on growing it?

When I saw these shoes in New Look I fell in love and although they are very high, the platform makes them slightly easier to walk in although I will never be someone who wears heels everyday!

Which shops do you always go back to? Can you walk in heels?

I love that colour on you! It's beautiful and the cut is fantastic. I wish I could walk in heels like that, I'm just completely useless in anything more than a couple of inches xo

You look lovely! Such a gorgeous shade of purple, really like your shoes too and that's good that they're a bit easier to walk in with a chunky heel, I'm rubbish in heels! x

Dress is lovely, and I know exactly what you mean about the Quality Street! I just hacked a couple of inches off mine, but thats just because although I was growing it it looked kind of mank because of this annoying top layer, so I'd say cut it if it needs it for the style, but keep growing it otherwise.

You look amazing, purple is deffo your colour.
I can't walk in heels at all, I used to wear them all the time in uni then I moved home and work all week so don't wear them anymore. Tried to wear them to a wedding recently and had to keep on taking them off!

Look rather swish, and very lovely as ever. This is a great colour, I really like the jewel toned purples and greens of this time of year.

Gorgeous dress, purple definitely suits you. I was wearing a purple top on my run today and people said it was a good colour on me, don't think I actually have any normal purple clothes

Such a pretty dress, and the colour looks so nice on you. As if it was only £7!
I got some New Look heels at the weekend, I find they're a bit hit and miss for comfort - sometimes I can totter around all night in a pair and sometims I have a mini tantrum as my feet hurt!
