There's something about Cornwall that just calls for nautical prints and when I was on holiday last week, all I wore was stripes. This tunic from Sainsbury's was an impulse purchase when picking up some last minute essentials the day before I went away (does anyone else always forget to pack toothpaste?!) but I love it so much that I have worn it 4 times already! It is also the perfect foil to my new-found love of leggings, who knew I would be such a passionate convert?! ;)

I love the bright blue stripes and paired with my favourite orange-y lipstick, it felt very summery. Thanks to the sunshine I have a bunch of new freckles and my hair is looking pretty light here too, you can really see my gingery tinge!

I have taken matchy-matchy to a new level with these shoes! I don't wear them as often as I'd like but I really should as they are probably the comfiest shoes that I own! From looking at these photos you can see that the leggings have gone massively saggy around the knees. I really need to invest in a half decent pair but I'm not sure where to start looking, any ideas?

love this tunic, great for days off and really classic. I haven't bought leggings for years but I used to swear by the topshop ones when I was at uni x
River island for leggings! High waisted and super comfortable :)
I love stripes but I strangely don't own many! You always look lovely in them. I get my leggings from Primark (not the see-through ones). I used to get them from Topshop and Next but the quality isn't that great so I figured I could spend less for similar quality!

Great tunic top! I get my leggings in M&S, they never go baggy, are really thick, high waisted & under a tenner!

Ooh I love a stripe. I have a very similar top in black stripe that is perfect for leggings and a relaxed look.
I got my last lot from Sainsbury and so far so good.

I love how simple and comfy this looks. It's hard to beat a good stripey top.
I've heard Next are good for leggings, although I'm happy buying cheapos from tesco.

I can't live without leggings in fact I rarely wear jeans at all these days.(thanks for the tip Claire, I had never considered buying them a size down!) I love the striped tunic,such a classic look.
