This outfit was one of those borne out of desperation, I mean what do you wear when the weather is boiling hot one minute and freezing cold the next?! I decided to opt for layers and I think I may have found my perfect casual Friday outfit...

Recently I have been wearing jeans to work on a Friday and I always feel a bit smug at the train station waiting next to all of the business men in their smart suits, I love my job and I can wear whatever I want which is pretty amazing, it as now been 9 (!) weeks where I haven't repeated an outfit, I clearly have too many clothes!

One project I have been working on at work has involved the 'Not A Guide To' Twitter and my colleague thought I had deliberately chosen to dress like the books I was promoting, I definitely think my subconscious was at work here! This shirt looks quite pale green in these photos but in real life it is a very bright turquoise green which is lovely...

This necklace has been the perfect addition to many an outfit recently, the white enamel-esque flowers add a touch of summer to every outfit and it looks way more expensive than it actually is- it looks much less plastic and way more enamel like in real life!
Finished with my new favourite shoes , the only pair that are comfortable after these shoes gave me two huge blisters when it was really hot the other day, leather shoes will always be the most comfortable for me!
