Give it away, give it away, give it away now... [GIVEAWAY]

Wow. I can't believe we've reached 50 followers today; it seems like just 5 minutes since we began our little venture into the blogosphere (I could not sound any more cliched if I tried could I?). First of all, I think we owe you all a big thank-you. Not only for taking an interest in our admittedly average lives, but for being patient enough to let us develop our own personal styles; in fashion and in writing. Finally, I think we can both sit back and smile with pride at the blog we've created; by no means is it the most advanced, or interesting, but it is something that we can both truly enjoy and enjoy to share. I thought it'd be interesting to take a quick look back at where we've come from, and give you guys the chance to have a good old giggle at our (ok, my - Maria looked lovely!) fashion faux pas from one of our first posts...

Gosh. I'm almost ashamed of that photo. Yet in a way it reminds me how far I've come in less than a year, and in all honesty I think the blog itself has helped give me the confidence to develop, as well as the wonderful friends I have who've brought me out of my shell. I can't possibly speak for Maria here, but I do know that she too feels that the blog (and all of your lovely contributions!) have allowed her the confidence to try new things, and brave new trends.

Here are a couple of photos taken this week before we went to a friends 'black and white' themed birthday party...
Apologies for the blurring! Hopefully though, the differences are clear and you can see how much we've changed over the past nine months.

Now, on to the exciting part; we're hosting our very first giveaway. We've got lots of pampering goodies to be won...
... including body creme, shower creme, bath salts, nail varnishes and ear-rings (every pampered girl needs a bit of bling!) and you could win the lot :). All we want to know is how you find time to relax and pamper yourself.... the more original the better! It's one entry per person, so just leave a comment below with your idea and we'll pick a winner in a week's time. [Please note this giveaway is open to U.K readers only - sorry!] That gives you a whole seven days to come up with something unique, so get thinking!

Once again, thank you all for your support so far and good luck!

I do loads of extra hours at work to save up a flexi-day and go to the spa! I can't relax "properly" at home as there are too many things around the place that I'd sit there needing to get up and do :K

If I'm totally skint though (which is more often), I have a LONG lie-in and get my boyfriend to rub my feet with body butter and watch trashy DVDs in bed!

I lock the door, turn off my phone put on some music and have a mass drawing session, I design clothes that I'd love to see made or let my mind wander along with my paintbrush

Wow, congrats on the followers guys! Great giveaway.

I pamper myself by watching SATC DVDs with a glass of wine, face pack on and if I don't get too tipsy then I'll do my nails too. This is a regular occurance when my boyfriend is studying- a girl's gotta make time for herself!

Danni why do you think that outfit was a fashion faux pas?!

How I relax: take a long bath that smells nice, get into really comfy soft pjs, get a nice cup of something warm (like hot chocolate), and curl up on the couch with a friend and a good rom-com. Face masks, giggling, and doing our nails - optional. :)

and Leia, I think the main problem is that I just look so awkward! Ah well, we all learn from our mistakes :D

Oh my goodness, I *love* that lace dress!

My perfect pamper evening:

First of all I'd prepare myself a delicious meal - I love cooking so a few hours in the kitchen in nice and relaxing for me. Before I eat, I would have a really nice big bubble bath- probably with something from Lush. and with a facemask on.

Then I'd give myself a manicure and pedicure, cover myself in body moisturiser (preferably a tanning one!) and jump into some comfy PJs.

The rest of the evening would be spent eating my yummy meal, drinking wine and reading a book or watching some trashy t.v.

Love the blog btw, I think it's really fab :) The only people currently reading mine are the three other contirbuters, haha! x

hey, it is so cool to finally meet a fellow Coventry blogger... so cool.
Love your b/w outfits. And it is really true how a blog develops and improves in such a short period. I have the same feeling

Just stumbled across your blog today guys! Hello from Dublin! (Cos that's soooo far away, hehe) You both look amazing. I love that you both have such different body shapes, means you can appeal to all the ladies! I'm in love with that white lace dress!

Holly- Coventry is OK, it has a fairly big Primark and has the usual suspects of River Island, Topshop etc but I prefer Leamington, it's prettier and they have a huge H&M :)

lionsandtigersandsarahohmy- I don't think that Danni and I could look anyy more different to be honest! I wish we were closer in size though, then I could steal some of her fab clothes :) And I love my lace dress so much :D
