New Look A/W press day (PICTURE HEAVY)

Last week I went to my very first press day to see the New Look A/W 2011 collection and I have to say now choosing photos for this post was extremely difficult. I saw some really lovely things and I am pretty sure that all of my money will be going into the pockets of New Look.

This was in the kid's section but I'm sure I could squeeze into it...right?

The building was absolutely gorgeous and showed off the clothes perfectly. There was a gorgeous mix of jewel colours, embellishment and prints. The accessories were lovely, especially all of the different ol prints. The styling of the pieces was spot on and really showed off the pieces to their full potential.

Do you like the pieces in this collection? How would you style it up?

Oh my there are some beauties in that collection...can't wait to check it out. But the owl ring is identical to one that I bought at Forever 21 in the US over a year ago!

The various posts I've seen on New Look this week have been seriously impressive. I think my favourite thing is the pink pair of shoes you've posted though, they're gorgeous. I'd keep things simple with the embellished dressed. Just good heels and a simple clutch, the beads are jewellery enough! X

New Look always do lovely press days, I love how they always choose light and airy locations. Anyway, I can see that you've photographed some lovely pieces. They're all so pretty! The one thing about press days is that sometimes it's hard to find the actual garments when they reach the shops...I guess because they get released gradually!

All this stuff looks gorgeous! I definitely prefer dressing for autumn/winter than I do for summer, so I can't wait until this sort of stuff starts arriving in stores (what am I saying, it's only May haha!)
Love the look of those leopard print boots, will definitely have to get my hands on some of them!

Bloody hell... this is New Look?! I never ever think to go in there... but I suppose that's because the one in Sheffield city centre is pants. There are SO many beautiful things here even from looking at your macro shots. You lucky bean! Compiled a mental wishlist? :) When will the collection be out? ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
