This dress is one of those items in my wardrobe that is routinely moved to the 'to sell' pile and yet I never quite manage it [and not just because I am lazy and can never be bothered to eBay stuff] It's not the most flattering dress I own but it is easy to wear and on those days where I feel like I have nothing to wear, I always end up pulling it out of the eBay box. This dress is like an old friend, comfortable and flattering, even with the minimum of effort...
| Dress: Therapy from House of Fraser, cardigan: Matalan, belt: vintage, shoes: Accessorize |
Accessorized with red lips and natural make up...
| Not a big fan of how 'crispy' my hair looks here, my Percy & Reed finishing polish has seemed a bit too heavy for the hotter weather, I think I need to go back to my Aussie conditioning milk.... |
...and my favourite vintage belt, I love the width of it, so many belts are either too fat or too skinny and the gold buckle appeals to my inner magpie...
Finished off with nude fishnets and patent red shoes- I love nude fishnets for adding a bit of texture and when I saw that Accessorize was selling them, it's safe to say that I stockpiled a few (!) pairs! They are perfect for making a comfy outfit a bit more interesting and I would definitely recommend these as comparable to these Jonathan Aston ones!
Which clothes can you just not part with? How do you jazz up a 'comfy' outfit?
